The Center for Transportation Policy Studies, headed by Dr. Edd Hauser, is an organization dedicated to the research and study of transportation issues and transportation related policy.
Located in the McEniry Building on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, the center serves as a invaluable resource for transportation policy-makers in North Carolina and elsewhere.
The center conducts research and policy analyses that result in efficient and cost effective investments and sound decisions for developing and maintaining multimodal transportation systems and services.
Currently, the Center has released a
report describing CATS transit operations and the development of the
South Corridor light rail line. To access this report, please
